Discover the powerful hydraulic water ram pump – also known as a water ram or RamPump! This innovative pump uses the hydraulic ram effect to efficiently pump water to great heights or distances. The model with a diameter of 1/2" inch/inch is made of high-quality, high-strength brass and a steel boiler with a maximum pressure of 10 bar. This makes it rust-free and, when installed correctly, requires very little maintenance.

As shown in the photos, the pump is fully assembled and watertight.

All you need for installation and operation is a 1/2 inch DIN15 mm diameter drive pipe and a hose for watering.

Optimal performance is achieved with a metal pipe as the drive pipe.

A gradient of approx. 30 cm is sufficient for operation.

The drive pipe should be at least 7 metres long. The higher the inlet gradient, the longer it must be. The relevant rule of thumb and other details can be found in the operating instructions. These are included with the ram upon delivery or sent as a PDF file.

For example, water can easily be pumped to a height of up to 10 to 15 times the inlet height. The amount of water pumped depends primarily on the given height differences and the distance to the pumping target. The pumping capacity can be increased with a longer inlet or a higher inlet height.

The pump operates completely independently and around the clock, 24 hours a day!

This ram is made of high-quality, standardised parts.

This makes maintenance and spare parts supply relatively easy worldwide.

 

The model has a steel boiler with a balloon inside. This keeps the air cushion constant and requires no maintenance. This prevents the air cushion from mixing with the water and disappearing. (Without air pressure suspension, the ram's strokes are harder and the upward flow of water is no longer even). The initial pressure in the boiler balloon can be set from the outside using an air pump. The spring pressure of the boiler is adjusted according to the height to be pumped.
