Discover the powerful Hydraulic Water Ram Pump—also known as a water ram or ram pump! This innovative pump utilizes the hydraulic shock effect to efficiently pump water to great heights or distances. The 1-inch diameter model is made of stainless steel with a maximum pressure of 10 bar. This makes it rust-proof and, when properly installed, requires minimal maintenance.
The pump is fully assembled and waterproof as shown in the photos.
For installation and operation, you only need a so-called drive pipe with a 32mm (1 inch) diameter and a hose for watering.
Optimum performance is achieved with a metal tube as the drive tube.
A gradient of just 30cm is sufficient for operation.
The drive tube should be at least 7 meters long. The steeper the entry slope, the longer it needs to be. The corresponding rule of thumb and other details can be found in the instruction manual, which is included with the ram or sent as a PDF.
For example, water can easily be pumped to a height of up to 10 to 15 times the inlet height. The pumped water volume depends primarily on the given elevation differences and the distance to the pumping target. A longer inlet or a higher inlet height can increase the pumping capacity.
The pump works completely independently and around the clock, 24 hours a day!

This model has a plastic vessel with a balloon inside.
Therefore, it is suitable for drinking water. This way, the air cushion always remains constant and requires no maintenance. This prevents the air cushion from mixing with the water and disappearing. (The ram's blows are harder without air pressure springs, and the upward flow of water is then no longer even.) The pre-pressure in the boiler balloon can be set externally using an air pump. The spring pressure of the boiler is thus adjusted depending on the height to be pumped.
